well you have to remember that SGU has been around for over 30 years and in the earlier years of the school transfer was more common- in fact the transfer rate was touted by the admin. In the early 90's the rate was ~65%(or so an SGU interviewer told me), so, while it has slowed down a bit i could see that number as being correct.
Plus there are many people who come (esp during the Jan term) waiting to hear from US schools and if they get in they leave, but SGU counts them as transfers as well.

well you have to remember that SGU has been around for over 30 years and in the earlier years of the school transfer was more common- in fact the transfer rate was touted by the admin. In the early 90's the rate was ~65%(or so an SGU interviewer told me), so, while it has slowed down a bit i could see that number as being correct.
Plus there are many people who come (esp during the Jan term) waiting to hear from US schools and if they get in they leave, but SGU counts them as transfers as well.

well you have to remember that SGU has been around for over 30 years and in the earlier years of the school transfer was more common- in fact the transfer rate was touted by the admin. rockshana is 99% correct. but it was the 80's where a high percentage (about half the class) transfered. By the earlier 90's it was going down very fast. but the number is accurate and not a typo.
