yeah the one in svg was at noon as well in the old deanery (the priest there was a very nice man too- always very apologetic that he was displacing me from my study spot, LOL!!- i always told him that it gave me an excuse to take a break, but that he could always say a little prayer for me anyway!!).

Father J comes over to the campus after services in the Cathedral and conducts a mass just for students. He is a very spiritual man and the service he conducts is uplifting. I am not Catholic but was invited by a friend, and I'm so glad I went. It was a highlight in my week especially toward the end of the term when things get tough. If you are there spring term, don't miss Holy Week services at the cathedral downtown. Really special.

No more "HistoMass??"
When I was there, we used to hold Sunday mass in Histo lab -- the first Histolab on true blue , downstairs next to anatomy dissection.
It was small and coozy, and full of microscopes... There was talk of calling ourselves the "St. Luke's" community (patron Saint of Medicine)...

Ahh, this brings back memories...

I'm so glad someone asked this question. I am catholic, and if someone let's me into SGU, I will be attending services every Sunday to pray that I pass. Any takers??

mass

mass was a really important part of the week. one works so hard the whole week and the best thing is to hear words of hope on the last day of the week or first for that matter. it is elevating.
