I have miles that are going to expire. If you need a ticket let me know to where and when (doesn't have to be to/from GND). I'll look into seeing if its available to book on miles, if it is, you'll get a great deal!

Just FYI, miles are best used for inter-term visits to/from GND since availability is high, don't think you'll be able to score a ticket on miles when EVERYONE is trying to leave or come back to GND ... otherwise I would have used them already

I used my miles to buy tix to GND during those times. when you travel shouldn't matter.

Also can you use your miles retroactively? i purchased AA tickets a week ago if you can swap them for miles and get me a refund i'd gladly pay you cash for the tix.

you can try, PM me where you're going and when and I can see if they're available with miles. Although, refund policies for airlines are basically non-existant.

Just because the going to/from GND dates didn't work for me doesn't mean they won't work for you. I was foolish in thinking everyone comes back a day before the semester starts like me. If you come back earlier, you may have a pretty good shot at scoring a ticket on miles.

You can use your miles for the busy times. I used miles to fly myself there and back for 2nd term all the way to 5th term. You just have to book almost a year in advance, when it pops up. I'm leaving this Dec 12th, and I bought that ticket with miles within a week it opened.
I also sold a round trip (35k) to my roomate twice.. each for $750. worked out great for me and him as he usually pays $1000+.

Easy.. you book a flight for somebody, that somebody pays you. I sold a round trip to my roomate (35k miles) to and from grenada for $750.
