Exclamation Do Not Rent = Bayfront Apartments!

I have had such a back experience with the landlord for Bay Front Apartments (white house right out side of school, with the dolphin sign). As soon as we moved in, we informed the landlady of all the problems we had with the apartment, but she just stalled and made excuses. She claims to be very "professional" and understand, but unfortunately she is not.
- There is a huge ant problem in the entire building and the ants get into everything, I had to throw out so much food. For this the landlady sent the guy once and then says oh it's "tropical" weather so you'll have bugs.
- She started MAJOR CONSTRUCTION, 2 WEEKS BEFORE FINAL EXAMS. She said she pays a lot of money for it so she can't help us. I can't even hear my roommate right next to me when she's talking b/c of the jackhammering, how are you suppose to study for FINALS?

THE APARTMENT IS SMALL AND OVERPRICED. I know what you are thinking, it's close so it'll be okay, but trust me after living here for 4 months she gets to you. You have enough stress with school work, don't stress yourself with an AGGRESSIVE AND UNCOOPERATIVE LANDLORD ().

Find another place to live, that might be a little further, but its worth it!

Good Luck!

I second that!

I absolutely agree with this post... can't wait to move out. The landlady is truly a difficult individual.

OMG the constant drilling is giving me a migrane!!!! How can you not inform your tenants of construction on your land; and one morning you fall out of bed at 7:30am to unexpected drilling! Inconsiderate landlady, extremely rude. I will NOT be renewing my lease with this place!!! She never fixes anything and the apartments are so cheaply made that if a hurricane came they would all blow away. Should we be subject to less than par standards for the sake of living closer to campus? Thank GOD there are more dorms going up. We should not allow these locals to take advantage of us. They charge top american prices but give us mediocre standards. This should not go on. There are so many places that are further away with much better standards.
