Thanks a lot. That was very helpful!

I'd also like to see a video or photos of the single dorm though, like the 4 room suite.

Just keep in mind , guys, that this video is about Grand Anse campus, but most first termers do not live on Grand Anse, they live in True blue SD1 and SD2 dorms, which look completely different from Grand Anse dorms.
Also,I believe flash cards are only 3 EC in book store on campus.
As for anatomy flash cards - I use Netter's anatomy flash cards, which are sold in book stores. I bought mine at amazon.com for really cheap. Also, I would recommend to bring BRS anatomy book, because lot's of people had to order them from US and paid a lot for delivery.

Actually, in the last part, he does show us around a True Blue dorm.

Oh, that's true. I only watched the one that is posted here. Yes, he shows a double room in SD1 and that is where most first termers will be living (same rooms in SD1 and SD2). However, few people in my class got singles in 3br suits. They said they filed " special request" to get those.

Hey Katya, do you know if they were paired with other first termers in these singles? or upper classmen? Thanks! (I filled out that special request too)

Yes, the ones that did that in advance are paired (well, it's a 3 bedroom suits) with other "special request" first termers. But if you put yourself on a waiting list for a single after arrival to Grenada, they will offer you whatever they have. I live with 4th termers and I really like it.

do you recommend students who are not yet first termers to start studying up on the anatomy flash cards or is it a waste of time? thanks

I am sorry, but I am not a good adviser on that, because I took medical school anatomy before (as well as Latin language)therefore anatomy is an easy class for me. I asked my friends that are taking it for the first time, they said they would definitely take anatomy in undergrad if they would know that it would be so hard for them. Flash cards...I think learning the facts is not a problem, the biggest issue is that people do not have a general picture of organs/body in their head. Flashcards would not help you to understand better, as they are very fragmented. Just be prepared to study very hard and try to figure out the best way to study as soon as possible and you'll be fine. Lots of people are doing very well without any prior review. Relax, have fun and be prepared to work hard when the school starts!
