I'm a first term MPH student and I would like to get a headstart on Med Term I. So if anybody doesn't need their Term I books please private msg me I would like to purchase them.

Now I know SGU gives them to you when you enter first term med. So selling them to me will give you a profit on them and help you recoup some of that tuition money so please give em up.

SGU does not just 'give' them to us first term. For e.g. we pay USD $700 for them for them (as of the AUG 2008 class). This is on top of the $19,000 tuition. These $700 is more than you would pay on amazon - some on this forum have said they could get all the books (new) for less than half the price we pay.

The thing is that you will have no choice but to pay this book fee first term med. So in your situation you will end up with two copies of the books. Better just get something from the library to read.

Too bad they don't let buy our own books.
