I am looking to buy a hookah, small is fine--just for me. Tobacco only. I went to the tobacco shop at le marquis but they didn't even know what a hookah was..., so nada. Let me know if you have one for sale or where I can get one (tobacco and coal as well) THANKS

Just a word to the wise. be careful. you do not want an unpleasant reputation following you around. there is a saying "Caesar's wife must be above suspicion". Basically meaning not only must you be innocent of things that are bad for your career, but you must be sure to APPEAR innocent- above suspicion. Same with docs. Putting aside the lack of wisdom in smoking any tobacco, you dont want people seeing you as some sort of illicits user. Its not a tag you need following you around as a Doctor or med student for that matter. These are the real life realities of the career you've chosen. Sorry if I'm putting a fine point on it; I'm trying to prophylax against those who would miss the point purposefully or not. (see prior hookah thread for examples). Remember: you chose this career- its not a right etc etc.

I tried bubble gum flavour once and for the last time. The stuff smells nice for the first try but after that it's just like cigarette smoke. Seriously don't get hooked on it. I just wanted to see what it was like and hated it. I think Indians call it Sheesha.

i know youre not looking for advice on the obvious, but just in case; let me warn you also that i saw quite a few med school students get addicted to tobacco in med school when they never smoked before. Experimenting is normal (if done with sense). But there are risks and nothing is or looks stupider than a med student suddenly addicting themselves.

Yeh the botswanese I have in my floor offered me weed. Then when they knew I don't smoke they said if you see us smoking just ignore us.

Ask someone in the persian students association.
They usually hold hookah night parties...i'm sure they'd know where you'd be able to get one.
