What qualifications would you be using ? I will be using my o"levels, and i am also emt-b certified.

Hey,
I'm Dereck, from Barbados and I would love to apply to SGU for Pre-med YEAR 3. I will be applying with my O-Levels...I have 8 of them and sending them my transcripts from UWI, I will be spending a year there to do introductory-university subjects (chem, bio, physics, and math). These subjects are the equivalents to A-Levels. Could anyone tell me if I would get into pre-med 3 with these quals?

why not ask the school?
as long as you have the prerequiste courses they will put u into 3-1. The applicant must possess a minimum of 60 university/college undergraduate level credits that include all science foundation courses.* The science foundation courses are the following requisite undergraduate level courses for admission to the School of Medicine: Biology I and II with lab; Inorganic Chemistry I and II with lab; Organic Chemistry I and II with lab; at least one semester of physics with lab; one semester either calculus, computer science, or statistics; and one semester of English

Sorry for the double post for those who read it in a different Thread...
Hello All you January 2009 FTMers : ) , I thought I'd let those of you who don't know aware that there is a Facebook group for our class. It might be a good way to share information in a non-anonymous fashion and coordinate study groups, events, scuba cert...or whatever else you feel like discussing within the 2009 class specifically. Not to mention it will give us a head start on matching names with faces!
