Nice,
crooks. I do remember Dr. Anderson who did infact do my interview. I have nothing but respect for ******. If I was from Saba or MUA, I would not be judging owners.

New York approval is difficult, but SMU has cleaned up its act since its past. And as far as bashing of schools, people will decide to go where they want to go. Why does it matter to the rest of you. Everyone has their opinions on their own schools, lets try to stay objective and help the future students instead of starting wars. ( i feel like im giving a speech). And ask not what the country can do you for you but what you can do for the country.

Ross

He was probably planted by my school, ross, considering they charge 10,900$ a semester, they could afford to pay him. Could someone tell me in detail the way your school test you and grades. I may want to transfer. Ross will put four subjects on one test and each subject counts as a seperate test

you could probably transfer to auc. you would still be able to practice anywhere in the US. even if your set on a unstrict state, its still nice to have the option. my neighbor just transferred from ross directly into 4th semester.

the tests here are spread out over the course of the semester. each class administers their own exams. nothing is combined. then 5th semester is a kaplan course and h&p course with all the shelfs. you mainly study for the usmle the last semester here.

Honestly, Truthbetold does not hold any water.

Sint Eustatius SOM will get approval from NY and Cali. in due time. This school has made alot of progress in a short period.

I am a graduate from Univ. of Sint Eustatius and I can confirm that this school is one of the best in the Caribean. As a transfer from Saba, I can tell you this school is much better than Saba for Basic Science and Clinicals.

I will refrain from bashing Saba, but if truthbetold...........Saba is one of the worse schools in the Caribean, especially for Basic Science.

Peace.
On what do you base your claim that Saba is "one of the worst"? Obviously, you did not have a good time at Saba, but why are you the only one?
I'm glad you found your niche at St. Eustatius. Maybe someday they will have NY and CA approval like Saba, "one of the worst" schools in the caribbean.

AUC

my wife, who usually uses my handlename, has a best friend at Eustatia. Her friend was turned off by Ross due to the large class size (150-300) students, and only 40 clinical positions in Miami. She also told us about the 5th semester Kaplin, that sounds like a good idea. From what I understand, Ross does not have anything like that. You go to fifth semester in Miami and after your clinicals, you take the exam. I belive we have less time then a US school. That is maybe one of the reasons the USMLA pass rate here is so poor. Please tell me about the cost of AUC, and there class size. Also, Ross puts what would be a whole year of anato in the US into a sinle semester. I will have to face this next semester if I stay, I am kind of worried about that class, the whole human body in 1 semester

Re: AUC

150- 300? There's quite a range. 150 is hardly large while 300 is.

well, regardless where you go in the carib, the prices are still extremely high. AUC charges $9500 for each basic science semester, and i believe $10000 for each clinical semester.

a distinct advantage of auc is the class size. the september entering class ranges from 150-180. the may and january entering classes range from 50-70 students in each. i started in may 2004 and we have about 65 students in it.

remember though, if you transfer, you will be in one of the upper semesters. by that time, all the class sizes would be trimmed a little. so even if you happened to join up with one of those september entering classes, it may be down to about 120-140 which is still less than the average ross class size. however, most likely you will join a class with a size 50-70. good luck.
