Typical Class schedule

Can someone post or PM a typical class schedule for each term on the island? Also, do anyone know how many students they are accepting for September 2008?

I'm not positive about the schedule for first term anymore because they are combining Anatomy and Embryology into one class and they are adding Public Health to 1st semester instead of 4th. But You will probably have Anatomy lecture 4 Monday-Thurs, Anatomy lab 3 times a week, Histology lecture in the afternoons 3 times a week.

2nd semester: Physio is mon-friday 8am-10am, Biochem is mon-friday 10-12, lunch 12-1, Genetics 1-3

3rd semester: Micro 8-10, 10-12 you have a break so the people who are TA's for anatomy lab can go, lunch 12-1, Neuro 1-3, Path 3-5

I can't really say anything about 4th because again it is getting switched around since public health is moving to 1st term. But as of now it is Pharm 8-10, path 10-12, lunch 12-1, psych/ethics 1-3 and public heatlh 3-4

They don't have a set number of students that they accept each term. Our class happened to have more than 50 while the class before us has 13 and the class after us has around 40. The incoming May class is about 35, so it really just depends however the September classes are usually the biggest.

Thanks so much for your help, what do people usually do for lunch (e.g. bring lunch, buy lunch nearby)?

I'm assuming the Friday Anatomy lab is for everyone?

Lately they've been splitting up the first term into 4 groups for Anatomy. So groups A and B will have lab on Mondays and Wednesdays and then for 2 hours on Fridays (it changes each week if you have it fridays 8-10 or 10-12 so that its fair). Then groups C and D have it on Tuesdays and Thursdays and for the other 2 hours on Fridays.

There are not quizzes in anatomy. They may give you quizzes in Anatomy lab but they will tell you about them ahead of time. I'm not sure if they are still doing the quizzes. We had them when I was in it, but I don't think they had them last semester. However, that may be because there was only one TA last semester.

medical kit

I was wondering if most students just purchased the medical kit from the school or if they attempt to buy it piece by piece. Which way is cheaper? What are the miscellanous items?
