I was accepted for Jan 2008, but deferred to 2009 in order to finish my degree

Anyone also for Jan 2009 ?

January 2009

I just began looking into this school a couple days ago. I'm currently working on my pre-medical courses at Saint James School of Medicine, located in Bonaire, Netherlands, Antilles...also in the caribbean. Originally my plan was to complete my pre-medical and basic sciences here and return to the US for rotations. Unfortunately, our school does not have any loan programs and I'm not sure if we will get any anytime soon. I was looking into transferring to another school in the caribbean for basic sciences. I'm in my 2nd pre-med semester so by May I will have completed about 50 credits of pre-med, I read that Sint Eustatius offers a 6 term basic science program which begins the student with a couple pre-medical courses. My question is, would I be able to qualify for that since I have already begun the pre-medical requirements here and completed most of them....I wanted to apply for January 2009 or sooner if possible, Also, is the MCAT required? Since I'm working on pre-med here, I wont have much time during my breaks in the US to take my MCATs....just wondering if it's mandatory or not. Either case, I am interested in applying to another school for basic sciences since ours does not have a loan program. Thanks for your help, perhaps Ill join you in Jan. 2009!

oh...SJ.....how's there? I did consider SJ before, but I was pissed by their people in the office...:"(

Anyway, not relevant anymore :")

I know that MCAT is not mandatory for this school

You really should contact with the Administration Office directly.

I really cannot answer your questions since I'm doing my degree in Canada

I have been talking with 3 different persons from the administration office, all of them are pretty nice people.

You should be able to get the answers easily :")

No one is coming for Jan 2009 O___O? Great that I can have 1 on 1 for my classes!:P

or this thread just starts a bit too early :P

Hello, I will be starting in Jan 2009 as well

Hello,

My name is Adam, and I just wanted to say hi to everybody.

Originally, I was accepted for the September 2008 semester; however, due to my sister getting married in October.

I decided to defer and start Jan 2009

Nice to meet everybody
