I need to start applying for some student loans, I don't think I can afford to pay for the entire 4-year program by myself...

There are numerous threads about med school loans...
This question is for current students receiving loans and all the others with good and/or bad experiences applying for and receiving your student loans:

WHAT IS THE BEST STUDENT LOAN OPTION FOR SE? and WHY?

For Canadians:

Can you be eligible for both Canadian and the US loans and be able to receive both?
(provided you are a US resident or have dual citizenship)

I have worked with Drs Choice and have found them to be completely honest in their dealings, and was able to complete an application with approval in less than 1 hour. The full $60,000 was available to me within 30 days. Home

I just did one with Dr choice as well...I am waiting for an answer now

As soon as you are approved for the loan for Drs. choice and Terri loans the $$ is dispersed or is it only available to you once school has taken their fees. I am just trying to get a timeline of when to apply since I am coming in Sept. Thanks for any help.
