Not everyday

I just got off the island, ROCKED the step I, thank you Statia, just finished my second week of clinicals and I'm doing awesome. That said, not too much has changed. We got Kaplan board review included into the tuition. Thats a good thing, school is up and coming. In terms of testing, you generally get tested every 3 to 4 weeks in the upper terms. About every 4 to 5 weeks in the lower terms. A small part of your grades are from labs and class presentations, especially in the lower terms. I'll tell you its not easy though. You need to "Hit the ground running" when it comes to studying. If you wait till the weekend before you will 100% fail your exams. So you DO study a lot. But every month or SO you have a weekend after exams that you can let loose and have fun. And every 4 months you get two weeks off. Its all about balance. They want you to pass your boards so they push you, but at the same time, like everywhere else, we are human and need time to rest and relax and you will have that too. Enjoy the island, I miss it dearly.
