I had my phone interview last week and I asked about NY approval. He said that the application for NY will be in by the end of the year. Then mid next year NY will out for site evaluation. Hopefully, we should get NY approval by the end of next year. But nothing is guaranteed.

i'm just curious....how come you guys didnt attend the big 2 carib med schools (ross, st. george) that have licensure in all 50 states? Is it because of the cost?

empty the spit valve on your piccolo, it's making you repeat things multiple times!!

Besides that, alot of the docs I talked to back home said that the fact you went to a caribbean school will overshadow where you went. I liked the school, they advertised it as a school and not a resort. My mother thought that guerillas where going to get me if I went to St. George (I know it is safe now so don't PM me about it), Ross seemed too large,

I liked saba but I came out of an awkward situation that I could not get in there when I wanted to (I wanted to start med school as soon as possible after my month long service at slidell, LA for hurricane katrina relief. I didn't want to be a construction worker or keep trying to get drug/surgical sales rep jobs)

Statia is a good school, the island and the school may not be asthetically pleasing but the tools are here for us to be physicians.
