That is true I go to AUA and was here during the site visit. If school says that it is because they haven't been in biz long enough for N.Y. approval ask to see a copy of the database the school submitted. Looks pretty shaddy to me like St. Luke School of Medicine that states on their website presently that they are accrdited in Liberia. They never have been and never and they are presently operating illegally and will still take your $4000.00 per term and give you nothing in return. When looking as achools do your home work look at who are the people starting these schools, do they have any experiecne staring and running successful medical educational programs ect.

AEDMD2B
AUA 3rd semester/term
December cometh and I am off this rock.

?????

so what have they said to you? ?? what ARE the problems? NY did a site visit years ago and still haven't approved them. The school keeps saying it'll get approved soon instead of just telling the truth... which is that they don't want to spend money on making the improvements as ny suggested.

I would say most of the problems with NY approval are political and not actual physical problems with the school. We DID have NY approval but one of our deans who had some NY connection retired and we lost it.

Don't go to this school unless it gets NY... it's gonna hurt you in the long run when you start applying for residency. There are so many programs in NY and boosts ur chances of landing the residency you want.

You are right on this one, getting NY is NOT based on how many years the school has been running. AUA got NY and they opned in 2004 which is way before Statia opened the door for students.
