when i was working in a medical office in south FL back in 2001 i was looking around at med schools and there was a statia student that set up rotations with a dermatologist in the area and that is the same thing he told me when i asked about state recognitions. so don't assume things will happen at any school based on what sga says, they usually get the info from the admin who are questionable sourves of truth to begin with

didn't they have florida for a while and then were banned or revoked?

They had florida but lost it due to one of the FL requirements "you must have a permanent school owned/affiliated headquarter in the state of FL" or something like that. A school that is FL accepted for rotations and residencies must own a building or something in FL or something like that and USE somehow was either renting one and stopped or didn't have one but got FL to keep giving them temporary renewels until something happened. It wasn't anything bad, just that FL would not put up with it and wanted that criteria to be handled. I am sure if will be taken care of after NY happens.

Don't go to this school unless it gets NY... it's gonna hurt you in the long run when you start applying for residency. There are so many programs in NY and boosts ur chances of landing the residency you want.
AUA got new york approval without any graduates yet, so its definietly not a time issue

statia should not be applying for NY approval, NY shoudl be begging for statia to come there.

Many years since I was here, on the street I was passin my time away
To the left and to the right, buildings towering to the sky
Its outta sight in the dead of night
Here I am, and in this city, with a fistful of dollars
And baby, youd better believe

Chorus:
Im back, back in the new york groove
Im back, back in the new york groove
Im back, back in the new york groove
Back in the new york groove, in the new york groove

In the back of my cadillac
A wicked lady, sittin by my side, sayin where are we?
Stop at third and forty-three, exit to the night
Its gonna be ecstacy, this place was meant for me

Feels so good tonight, who cares about tomorrow
So baby, youd better believe

Totally untrue

If you look at the most recent NY approval, AUA, they have been in business for barely two years, have no graduates but a business model and facilities that obviously impressed the State of NY visit. This leads to a couple of things: Either ST. E have not asked the State of NY to visit them, or if the State officials did visited them, they must have found some deficiencies and one thing is clear....they lied through their teeth which means... stay away from them, they are not being honest now, chances are they wil not be honest tomorrow.

Or....

Or somebody is putting words in the mouth of "the school".
I have never heard or read before in this forum that any administrator or official (or student of the school) is saying that the problem with New York accreditation is because of lack of time of the school.
