Ask a transfer student
If you ask any transfer student you will find out the reality behind how good/bad this school is?
When I came to this school, St Chris pulled out 18 students and 3 profs out of Spartan that term. They get people from MUA, AUC ( AUC is one of the three big Caribbean schools w/ Ross and St. Georges) as transfers regularly. These students have nothing bad to say about this school. They say the faculty is twice as better as their former school and there is a structure to the school. Admin being bad here is nothing compared to the admin. in some of those Caribbean schools in "CARIBBEAN" countries. The only reason people talk about St. Chris according to me is because of these people haven’t seen other foreign medical schools. I don’t doubt St Georges / Ross are better than St. Chris. But, come on, if you can get into ST Georges and can pay their tuitions why would you NOT go there. But comparing St. Chris to other foreign schools, we are in a far better place. Every one of these schools has its growing pains 'cuz there are privately set up; they don’t have money given to them by governments and private companies for their expansion as they don’t have research facilities (yet) and they are purely teaching institutions. I think everyone who has something bad to say about this school should talk to transfer students first about their experiences and I strongly recommend new students and prospective students do the same. I hope… P.S. I am not gonna answer any responses to this message cuz I have better things to do (like study) then defend my point against people who are just going to argue against my view as they have nothing better to do but just sit w/ their computers and practically gossip on this forum. |

hmmmm
You think having transfers is anything to brag about mate...I think not..I was LMAO when Bts said that they recieve X number of transfers from MUA and other schools....Did all these transfers going to st chris transfer out of there school after the first semister or was it after there 2nd year...
Its a big difference because most of them either got weak board scores or didn't pass the boards.... St chris doesn't have any requirement such as pasing your USMLE step 1 before you apply to clinicals..Thats why people transfer there.... |

...
people transfer for various reasons. There will always be people transferring out and in of St. Chris.
I suppose it really depends on what a student wants out of St. Chris. And then really making sure thats available. |

Heard there are some people from AUC who transferred out after 4 semesters at AUC. Yes 4. Why would you transfer when you finished 4 at one school? Sounds fishy and everything should take that into consideration when asking these people anything. |

the reqs
a while back they instituted reqs like passing 5 out of 8 shelfs and/or the comprehensive then the kaplan or you would not be certified to take the usmle, i pressume some people blew off the shelfs and couldn't catch up i don't see any other reason to tranfer unless it is to a 3rd year US school....
