    Yes BTS exists
The school is not that expensive either...it will cost about $60,000 for the degree program 4 yrs.

Most students are younger, but we have a great older more mature student population which brings the mean age to roughly 26. Its about like any DO school. Many, like myself, were waitlisted at many US schools and instead of re-applying many more times we decided to just get on with it.

I brought my entire family as did some of my better friends at the school. We hang together and do family stuff just like in the states, but we have better parks courtesy of the British Government. I will run for Student Government because I too see the incredible potential of this Medical School and want its reputation to be second to none in the international category.

They have a lot of staff from American Universities coming to see this school and they all LOVE what they see. They like the staff, faculty, and the student population. They see we are bright and could just as easily been US medical students, but because the system is not perfect, we are here. Most of us are happy to be so.

maybe this is wa he meant...i think each semester is like... $6000 (approx), 3 semesters a year to $18,000 a year, times 4 yrs approc 70K,read his words, he mentioned nothing of hoiusin etc..jus educational cost, jus off by a few grand tho..
and sweety, it gets rather annoying that ur nitpicking every word, u do bring up good points, like the new building thing, but relax a bit, seems like u like to stir the pot sometimes, and im saying this will all the goodness in my heart

    Re: I Think

I have been following the post from IKnowitAll. It is plain that this person no matter where they are can not be happy with anything. Iknow thinks by asking "constructive" questions that they will some how get answers from someone that has no clue as to the status of any official school progress.

This person has been a problem from day one instead of making the best of it and finding somewhere that they can be happy they try to come across as just asking questions as if its in the best for students.

All I can see is that this person has a problem with Futr and is trying to make St chris and students look bad.

This person needs to be adult enough to ask questions to the right source of people ie adminstration. No matter where you go school work or friends there will some type of rumor going on. The best way to get an answer is to ask person direct what is really happening.

I have always been told if you want to know the truth ask the person that it pertains to and if they dont want to comment let it be.

There is no need to keep this going on. If Iknow has a problem with the school he\she needs to handle this in a mature way and not have to turn to the computer of answers from a forum.

In my opinion Iknow is looking for a way to vent due to their lack of investigation of the school ie not visiting or looking to the proper web sites that has all the info as to what a offshore med school has to have to meet the criteria for ecfmg certification.

This person is spending more time here in this forum than in the books.
Who ever you are please, spend your time more construstive and channel all this wasted energy in being the best you can be in your goal.
If you dont this behavior will carry over in to your work and I would not want to be the poor soul who is under your care to find out that you have shared my medical history with the entire world via this or any other forum because you had to stay over on your shift and deem that I was impeding on you personal time.

As of jan 2004, all classes will have to pay the new tuition. It is not only for students who start on or after that date.
