510 points I can't believe some people voted for some of the classes listed above. To each their own I guess...
A year and half ago, when I was in first term, Embryo was my favorite class. My proffessor was horrible, but I thought the material was really cool and I memorized the book cover to cover. There is a new proff now, and I hear that she is not that good either, but just study Langman's, the amterial is fascinating.

510 points i really liked biochem...

510 points biochemistry is pathophysiology and pharmacology on the most basic level (the subcellular level) and if you think about it that way, it is interesting enough to be easy. like every other subject in medical school, there is an overwhelming amount of information if you aren't interested in a subject, but a perfectly managable amount of information if you're interested in it... i took it at AUC and i thought the professor was good, which helped. there are two professors at SCIMD who might teach biochem next semester. if Dr. J does, then i have no doubt that it will be one of those great courses that make every other course make so much more sense; i don't know the other professor and so can't comment.Originally Posted by tanisha
