Just wondering

does the school offer you atlas' on CD, dictionary on CD and other info that we can copy instead of going out and buying them. I read on the SGU site that the school lets you copy their CD's. You just have to go to admin on campus and tell them what you need. Just wondering if St Chris does this too?

Offically... no, that is a gross violation of copywrite laws.

Unofficially... some proffs, if they have something special, will let u copy it. However a dictionary and things like that are unlikely to be available. You would be better off buying it yourself.

$700??

man even if you got it direct, you can do it from Microshaft for $120 as a educational copy and have them send it to you at SC.

piracy galore

You can get all that and a little bit more for under 5 bucks here at Pantip Plaza (Bangkok). In fact, when you buy a laptop or computer from any store in Pantip Plaza (or this other place called IT Mall), they tend to give you all the free goodies along with your laptop (the whole Windows package, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia, a Karaoke program, CD burner, etc.).

Sadly, we're leading experts in piracy...hehehe, but you don't see my wallet complaining.
