How, exactly, do you construe my comments as attacking and insulting? Certainly I disagree with you, but disagreement does not equal attack.

I am not sure how SC people have been prevented from telling their side of the story. Indeed, I think SC has been pretty effective in using this board as a marketing channel.

By the way, please edit.
You called me dellusional please edit, it was reported to the other mods.

I had no intention of locking this thread just made a comment about reposting and the was asked how reposting is against TOS. I answered it.

Yes the students do feel like they are attacked here, no this is not a "marketing thing" Gosh go read other forms, Marketing doesn't go on there at these schools? LOL.

As I said if any current student says they like the school it is squashed by many here as marketing it has been posted "you work for the school" How ridiculous.

Who wants this constant hostility from a few people on VMD? I don't I very tired of it. Why would you expect most of the students to embrace the discussion here? Show me the "Marketing" in the last 11 months? All I've seen is discussion and Opinion. The Marketing was from years ago.

Hmm, resorting to bashing another school that has nothing to do with the issue? Very disappointing.

"It's called flooding and trolling. " and flooding and trolling lead to flaming, and flaming leads to anger, and anger is a path to the dark side...

why can't this just be left alone? no one knows what is going on until they finish the fraud investigation....anytime a noob posts a question this is another thing that can referred to but why keep on reposting the same crap over and over again?

and whuds...this fora has been used agressively as a marketing tool by SC, just look at posts circa 2003 mtt and bts made all sorts of referrences to cambridge "affiliations" and when the luton change happened they painted luton as the greatest city in europe...hehe exaggerating of course but it certainly led many to beleive that way....

Juni it wasn't a bash! There were a lot of posts about SMU just a few months ago that were so positive. Hows the truth a bash? Students who post an opinion to others to go to their school are in a sense doing free marketing for the school.

I'm Truly Sorry to be misunderstood, I was not stating that anyone was a troll or that there was TOS violation, just my opinion that it serves little purpose to repost the same stuff over and over again. Against some student's wishes I made a sticky with the story for now, so people will stop reposting the story.

thread

this thread has long become useless. I am closing this. For the future, flaming and insults are against terms of use, and yes, even when in responce to someone else's flame/insult. There is nothing per se against terms of use in bringing up old topics. It is only an issue when persistant behavior to push an individuals agenda- whatever it may be- continues and after plenty of pms nicely requesting that things move on. This is when it becomes "trolling". Some may complain that this is a "soft" call. And it is. Deliberately so. Other wise every attempt at rasiing an issue previously mentioned would be a warnable offense. basically Judgement calls allow us to exercise just that: judgement of the context of a users behavior.

Now as users, what can you do if you feel there has been an unfair action? Well replying endless in a whining contest on the forum isnt the smart thing. The wise thing is to report the post to mods/admin and let us discuss it. I assure you we do have lively discussion over these things in the mods forum and disagree and try to come to a democratic solution. but also be aware: if a mod dings you for a soft call and your responce is inappropriate, youre less likely to win any support for an appeal.

Folks conut this is as a comment ive said before: you want to be doctors. Why not act in a way befitting a doc?
