Hey...visa concern by law
As we all know.....as per new UK law..they won't re-new any more student visa for St. Christopher and other such medical school students....hence closing the door for future student attending St Christopher...or any other such school that is not recognized by UK government....but if that is the case then can it be true that this is only the first step they have taken to stop offshore schools operating in UK ..... may be they will take a more severe step if students are still getting though the visa restriction.
Haven't heard anything....I mean to say haven't heard of St. Christopher being added to the list of schools that are going to be approved for student visa....so I had a concern if this new law is being put in place to eliminate offshore schools operating in U.K. I am pretty sure before setting forth this new law..the U.K goverment must have sent a notice to all schools in question....stating about the new law. The U.K goverment has to do this to keep them in check of not getting sue.....by private school. The only way one can find out about this problem is to call the U.K division that implemented this law..and to ask why is such a restriction being set forth. Can anyone with enough knowledge on U.K law can be of assistance. Just a concern, Siddman --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Faith it seems, is not without a touch of irony |

Search for St. Chris and you'll find it. So, what are you talking about? |

I want to know if St. Christopher is added to the list of schools that are allowed for a student visa. From my understanding, U.K government has passed this new law against foreign schools operating on U.K soil. And I am wondering if St. Christopher's officials are hiding the truth from the students..let me know what your understanding is is on this serious matter.. The Register than Ans linked to is the Register that they are talking about in the statement you quoted. If you click this link: http://www.dfes.gov.uk/providersregister/search.cfm and put COLLEGE OF MEDICINE in the Search by provider name box and click the GO button, St. Christopher's College of Medicine will appear on the list. Thus, St. Christopher's College of Medicine is listed on the Register you quoted in your original statement. Do you understand now? |
