Granted SC has gone through hell, turbulent times, and I am talking about the students. They are working hard to make it work, and you seem to be working hard to bury it. On what basis?

You know, I have learned that when I screw up, I ammend for my mistakes by apologizing and doing the correct thing, maybe your pride and ego are blinding you into not recognizing thet you also make mistakes, and that there is nothing wrong with an apology.

It's up to you, I believe you owe it to some folks after this DFES fiasco, but what you believe is ultimately what will motivate you to do the right thing or not.
