of course this could have been a cheerleader called the school and asked to refund her the money since she was posting negative things...who knows

also an office is expensivbe to start, there are few students left at the school, and the king of pins has all the cash so its not surprising for that description of an office.

SC was never a 'first choice' school (based on objective measures), it sure isn't one now but new management can make a huge difference. hopefully in a few semesters there will be an office staff with flatscreen monitors in manhattan..until then if they are actually doing right give em a break..

there are still students at this school, if it is trying to survive and doing it right things they do right should be talked about along with the drama.
damm rrod. i didnt realize you are such a fair person. i have to go now and reprogram my brain.

that is because it was drama as usuall with st. chris tryin to get my money back. if it was up to st chris i would have never seen a dime of that money EVER. do you how many people had to be called into the subject matter, not to mention a lawyer before anything started moving. like I said, drama will always follow this school. and they did an "honorable" thing you say, where??????

ok well call me when you get into an ENT residency or better yet an IM residency, when state boards know that you have a "valid" St. Christ degree.

i ama realist and try to say it like it is, everyone knows i go to auc and i have always been critical of the school as well as prasied it for the good things it does.

the reason i always come off so negative on the SC forum is because i know tranfer students there, 2 of which are actually good friends, and they tell me things that are going on there. i am severely allergic to ** so when the cheerleaders would spin the truth i had to balance them out and the only reason i came off so negative was because they were so blatantly positive... i am rationalizing ain't i?

anyway, i beleive in positive reinforcement so good to SC.

as far as having to call different people for a refund....ahhh what did you expect, they fired everyone moved buildings, had people about to start residency, clinical students, loan problems, basic sceince students, etc. a request for a refund was probably somehwere between where to put the file cabinet and responsding to 10 lawsuits while redoing an entire school.

wow. Your comeback had absolutely nothing to do with what you quoted.
Call ME when you find another school that gives you a non-refundable $1000 back- Somehow i doubt even the big 3,4,5 or whatever would ever give you money back on something that they stamped "NON-refundable". Did you not read the "non" part? And somehow that became St. Chris' fault? And we should feel bad you had to make phone calls? You attended the same college i did- dont tell me the run around you got to get a non-refundable amount back was ANY different than the run around that yours and my university would have given you had you ever asked for money back.

uh.. they did move offices. It's a fact. not a good thing or bad thing- just reality. You' weren't happy with st. chris- we got it. Get used to being tied to the school in some way for the rest of your life if you transferred from SC to another school. In the end you NEED SC to work out to the point where theres at least transcripts coming out- otherwise i dont see anyone's "awesome" established school just giving them a pass onto clinicals or graduation without some official proof of their completion of the basic sciences.

for all you st. chris that are here to stay (unfortunatlely for you) or have had something to thing with them in the past: SO SORRY FOR YOU, it's like a spirit that will forever haunt. it will always remain with you no matter how you try to dodge it.

Be patient...it's almost over!

Don’t worry Tasha … this saga is almost over. Students who are interested in this school should contact the General Medical Council of England. I have posted the phone number for the GMC many times. I think the meat in the student’s comment who created this post is that visas will not be granted for students wanting to attend St. Chris. It is not recognized as a medical college by the UK or the US. That should pretty much tell you everything you need to know.

Why do students take the advice of strangers over the authorities? If, the US Department of Education, Oregon, AND the General Medical Council of England tell you a school is not recognized -- why apply? For those who can’t get into an accredited medical college…. gambling away thousands of dollars won’t solve the problem. You might get a degree but like the BBC uncovered ‘Some Degrees Are Worthless’.
