It's rather easy. When you go to a Spanish Medical School, they don't prepare you for the Medical Exams taken by Carib and US students. But they make sure that when you graduate you know your stuff as a Physician. So after you graduate you if your intentions are to practice medicine in the US, you must take the Prep Course whether it be from Princeton Review of Kaplan, but at the time from actually being away from the Basic Sciences year you forget everything you learn not everything but you should know what I mean, so you have to do what, bust your *** and try to catch up and begin to study everything again, from anatomy to the last bit of Pharm. And well, the first time they took it was just to see how the exam was because the didn't know what the hell it was about, but the second time the studied for it and failed it again by what 4-6 points from the passing score, not saying that they were aiming for the passing score, so now they're taking the review for it and will be taking it on December 13, 2003 and I'm more than possitive that they will pass this time. Also, for your information try going to and All Spanish speaking Medical School and if you actually pass come back and tell me if you have learning difficulties are what you said capabilities. If you don't know about Spanish Med Schools and how hard they are please don't speak your side, and I would like for someone like Teratos or maybe even Picard to actually have their says in this to see, if in fact what I advised and said is incorrect. Please. One last thing, FYI there is no need to wait till you actually experince something to advise some one to do, it's best to learn from what others are going thru or from others that tell you this is how it is than to wait till your in that position. Sorry but no, not on this one. Picard or Teratos do you guys actually have anything against what I advised? Cuz if its like that than damn this is some boggus ^%&*. Notice how no one else has critized or complain about my position or background but you, why because they know how to use good advice, that will be beneficial to them so they won't have problems come Clinicals with their Step 1.

your advice is the same as others have advised. however, if you are going to give input, it would be better for you to preface it with "i have heard" or something of that nature.

i agree that your input is a bit premature. usually, when people ask for advice on these forums, they are looking for those that have experienced it or gone through the process first hand. everybody has anecdotal evidence, so your input is not actually all that helpful in this case. first hand experience is much more helpful.

hope that clarifies things a bit.

Well thank you for your say buddy. Is good to hear this from you and others who have a problem with what I advised. Hopefully those who choose to study for their step 1 during their Clinicals or maybe even after know what they are doing. Good luck to those. First hand experience is as good as Learning from others experiences so you don't repeat those mistakes. I'm just giving my input as to what I would do, and I think it's not hurting anybody. But I see that it actually bothers some. Good Luck
