fact

Come thursday after finals, I'm calling almost every state med. board to hear for myself what the deal is. Plus I'm still waiting on futrphysician to reply to my request for some info about the GMC letter from the front office. BTW, why were there senegalese men visiting the luton "campus" last week? Anyone have any info on this?

after finals

Hopefully, after finals some people can come on here and answer questions about the school.

The administration needs to get on here somehow also.

Slim chance of them coming on here. The other day I went in and asked for someone ..... the secretary told me that he/she is not in today ... just as that happened he/she walked right by me. The response ..... "oh "

I called Georgia yesterday and here is what they said:

No decision about St. Chris grads was made at the board meeting this month (dec 4-5 according to website). No decision will be made until someone actually applies for a license in the state of georgia. Her main was concern was wheither the school was WHO listed, which it is. Other than that, she stated that they will get all the official information from the school itself when someone applies and a decision will be made then. This does not reflect poorly or favorably on SC, it merely reflects a "time will tell" position.

it does reflect poorly. this is one of the states that you said would be no problem. there are lots of schools where it is no problem.

hope it works out, but we should be less optimistic and more realistic for those that use this information to make a decision on where to attend.

I am sorry, I should have been more explicit.

Although there is nothing in the rules and regs nor laws of georgia which would prohibit or cause problems for St. Chris Grads, a specific decision can not be made until an applicant actually turns in an application. This is not good, but it is also not bad. It means that there should be no problems with grads being licensed, but to be sure we have to wait until a person is granted one. This is a "time will tell" position.

See this site for rules, etc.: http://www.medicalboard.state.ga.us/...e_rr.html#phys
