Female Roommates

Hi guys,

Do any females on here want to share a house or condo for this upcoming sept session? I want something clean and safe. I'd rather pay a little bit more and live in a better place closer to school. Any interested females, please message me. Thanks!

PS
I'd prefer someone from the states that was going into the 4 year program like me. It seems like it would be a better situation in that we could study together or walk to classes together.

Same situation here, but I am a male...I'll be in Luton on the August 31, and I don't have a place yet.

I wonder how safe it is to live alone? That is what I would prefer to do more than anything, but my family is concerned about the safety issue in that scenario.

How safe you feel is really a matter of personal preference. I lived within a 7 min walk from SCCM in a flat by myself. My friend lived with 2 other people and her house was robbed. From personal experience I don't think Luton (within the town centre) is any more unsafe than the average US metropolitan city, however I am from NY and I did live in Spanish Harlem. If you have never lived by yourself before I would recommend getting a housemate, however that said, beign that moving to Luton is a new experience coupled with having to adjust to medical school it may be advisable to share the experience with another, at least for the first semester. On a more personal note, safety is also an issue of awareness and smarts. Not wandering the streets by yourself at 3 am drunk...smart LOL!!
