There's been a lot of discussion about different State license requirements and whether Spartan is okayed in this state vs another. Frankly, Spartan is ok in the vast majority of states (NY, Cali, Indiana being the few exceptions).

What most students forget to look at, as I did myself, is many states have requirements for the quality of CLINICAL ROTATIONS that you do. For example, many states require all rotations done at green book hospitals, other states require CORE rotations done at a green book hospital that has a residency in that rotation. Massachusettes, for example, brutally scrutinizes requirements and even requires the med school to fill out paperwork. Spartan, having such few clinical sites, well, this frankly can be a big issue. One of the hospitals that stated it was greenbook, wasn't! Many of us, including myself, didnt' take this into consideration.

Regardless, you might be able to get a "training license" in these states anyway, as many states may not check your credentials, but it's a BIG risk you take. If you get caught, the penalties could be enormous.
