If anyone else claims they won it they are lying and if they have a 'Peace Prize" with their personal name on it, it is fake. Please let me know where it is and I'll notify the Nobel Peace folks about the fakery.

I am sure you are right Azskeptic, that this Spartan grad. made a fake plaque, had a bunch of people write articles about him and fooled the whole world except for you Azskeptic. You caught him. Great job. Azskeptic, you are much smarter than the whole world. It is an honor for me just to know that someone like you exists in this world of ours.

It doesn't mention your doctor...so anything he has is an addon by him or someone else. Sort of embarrasing to you and to Spartan that you would point out the inconsistencies of the guys story......see this kind of behavior some times with folks claiming to be Vietnam heros, etc......

I am calling your doctor a fake. Don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that he was not named by Nobel so he is self nominated.....cheers

I must say that I totally agree with you Azskeptic. I remember last year when the Spurs organization won the NBA championship and they gave Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, etc, championship rings and I thought to myself, "These people are all fakes, they did not win the championship, oh no, it was the team that won and teams are not made up of people, oh no, teams and organizations are made of absolutely nothing, just thin air..."

I agree with you Azskeptic, Docs Without Border is not made up of a organization or team of doctors. Oh no, they are made up of "nothing". Thus those selected doctors among Doc Without Borders, who dedicated their lives to helping people around the world, who were chosen by the Norwegian Nobel Prize committee to come to Oslo and receive the Nobel prize, are all just fakes. And those pictures which show Sean receiving the prize, they are fake photos and his plaque, it is fake too and the top institutions that place Nobel prize next to his name, well, of course, the top USA institutions, they do not know what they are doing. How dare they think that they know more than Azskeptic and the rest of AntiSpartan Attack Machine?

Difference is that a Nobel Peace Prize or a Pulitizer is awarded specifically to someone......the tradition is that a single award is given out...not like the SPurs.

But believe what you want......evidence shows otherwise from the group that gives the award. I'll write them today and get verification to post here.

Unlike the Pultizer which is traditionally awarded to one person, the Nobel prize has historically been awarded to both individuals and groups of individuals. In this case, it was the organization of docs witout borders. A spartan grad, among a few other doctors, was invited directly by the Norwegian Nobel prize committee and he was honored.

I truly hope that, Azskeptic, you will learn more about this but I know that you will not get the results that you are "looking" for... You will learn the truth and then I highly doubt that you will post it because the truth will be positive and for you, Azskeptic, to post something truthful and positive at the same time will not come to pass, not in this forum... However, at least, you may open your mind a little more, if not publicly, in private...

and yet you are all still debating a most unimportant point. Its an amusing factoid about spartan and gives the prospective student nothing to hang his hat on. Focus on the stuff that will matter to the prospective and you will be doing him a far greater favor than debating for how many pages now? the exact extent to which a spartan grad takes claim of a prize. In other words: nobel or not, it means little in terms of the education or opportunities a new grad will have. Its a shiney coin being used to distract away from the things that prospectives should look for.
