Spartan semester increase?
The Spartan website says, in the FAQ section, "...you must spend 16 months (4 trimesters) in St. Lucia for the basic science and pre- clinical science program and the remaining 20 months (5 trimesters) in United States for the Clinical training program. In the near future, we will offer a five trimesters of basic sciences and pre-clinical science program."
Why is the number of semesters for basic sciences increasing? Is this because certain states won't accept Spartan based on number of classroom hours, so they're trying to accommodate? Or am I way off...? |

it's 10 semesters now, you should download the catalogue. nine semesters is 36months, now 10sems or 40months (no semestral breaks). the extra sem could cover intro to clinical, formal PDs and history taking, and usmle reviews.
