Total Tuition(including rent/utilities)

I'm wondering if someone who's been/is on campus can give me a tally of the costs for tuition including the rent/utilities and what states you can practice in. I have searched before anyone asks... but just would like some more concrete, up to date, information. Thanks!

Tuition can be found @ www.spartanmed.org/html/tuition.html Other costs vary depending on what you are looking at. All of these prices are in EC. Divide by 2.67 to get the cost in US dollars. Apartment can be anywhere from $400 - $1500 Food varies depending on what and how you eat. Food is a little more on the island than in the states Electricity again varies with use. It can be as low as $80 a month to as much as $600 a month depending on how much you use your AC. Most people pay around 150 - 200 from my understanding Cell Phone - I use cable and wireless you pay for the minutes you use. (you can use a phone from the states if it has a sim card) Internet varies depending on the speed you want. Basic DSL speeds (same as in the states) is around $60 a month. Some people pay around $140 a month for the max speeds. Transportation - buses are around all day (not really during the night- call a taxi if you need to get around at night) they cost around $1.50 (I think) each way and you can usually catch one within several minutes from anywhere on the side of the road. You can rent a car from around $600 to $1300 a month. You can practice in any state (by practicing in a federal facility) otherwise I know not Cali (I think there are like 4 more states you can not practice in). But the best thing to do is figure out where you will most likely practice and call the school to find out. Also you can check the state for specific information. Hope that helps.

I also replied to someones questions listing this information a little while ago.

But I had a few minutes to type it out again... Remember the costs vary depending on what you are looking for in an apt. so get here a few days early and don't rush into an apt if you are not happy with it.
