Match Results For 2006
Hello,
I thought I would start a thread regarding match results for the 2006 NRMP match. I know four Spartan students whom have ''pre-matched'' for July 2006. Family Medicine - Iowa Internal Medicine - Michigan Internal Medicine - Washington, DC General Surgery - Michigan Any Spartan students/grads who match this year into a specialty, can you please post your specialty and the state in which you matched? It would be wonderful for the valuemd.com world to see that Spartan is still producing grads who are able to make it in the USA. Thanks, Current |

thats a bit nonsensical on several levels; not the least of which is that the hospitals are not overly likely to hire someone who is not licensed/qualifed. Further, soon enough anyone can do a search for spartan grads and make those same calls if they were so inclined. which brings us to: finally, its a bit absurd to think anyone has a personal vendetta against anyone else simply because of the school they attended and would go after them for it. More absurd that this would actually be successful just because "they hated on ur deal". Are you actually suggesting that a school's match list should not be made public? A disturbing notion.

Freedom of speech
I really dont know what your problem is, i basically would not put it past someone on here. It may sound absurd, someone that pulled up a 2 year old article and wrote the CT boards last month out of the blue. So my post is against the rules? I dont recall calling anyone names or insulting anyone, you seem to be offended for whateva reason. And u know what, i think some people here do have personal vendetta's against certain schools. I mean criticizing administation is okay, but when people go out of their way to tell lies and start rumors that are simply stupid. You are on here more than alot of us, you cant tell me that people on here dont have issues. Oh well, am sorry if i came across the wrong way but when its my match i would never share the hospital name on valueMD. People here scare me.

Has Spartan gone down hill over the past 10 or 20 years? I don't know a whole lot about the school but am wondering because they have between 1000 and 2000 grads, and that's a ton for such a school. I know they got rejected by Cali but I guess they still had a ton of grads pumped out after Cali? Also, I hear they have grads in almost every state. I am wondering if this has changed...so like did grads fill up in the states, but say a grad from Spartan in about 4 or 5 years, will he/she be able to go into all the states that Spartan currently has grads practicing in? I am from TX and am wondering if there are Spartan grads who have a permanent license in TX, then will I be able to get a residency and permanent license if I do everything correctly? Or has Spartan lost some luster and they won't look at it the way they did fro grads from many years ago?
