What do we EAT?

Hello everyone! I just decide to go Spartan on September. Do you guys know what kind of food do STUDENTS not faculties usually eat? I assume that students do not have time to cook, so they usually eat out or go cafe. How much is it if I would like to eat out most of time? Can anyone give me a rough idea? Thank you in advance PS: you can share the message to others and the reply does not need to be private, so other people will know it as well.

basically we have a cafeteria at the school that is open monday through friday during school hours and it cost about 12 EC a meal. but could be less if you just want to have a sandwich and a drink.
you can also order food to be delivered every night up to 9 pm.
pretty much after 9 you can not eat anything or anywhere unless you cook by yourself which should not be a problem.
do not worry about time too much since you will have plenty of it around here.
wish you luck.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria lady is mean, but likes you if you buy there every day.
yes meals are about 12EC (1US = 2.67EC)
There is a 'shack' across the street where locals make food and sell it. It is just as good as the cafeteria if not better tasting and service. Don't judge it by its cover... haha just like the school.
There is a restaurant called Scoobies where you can call and order food until 9pm - they deliver for a small fee. They have usually good food - I like the chicken fingers. Be prepared to cook or have lots of noodles lol.
I don't know if you will have a room-mate - but be wary of housing - there have been breakins -especially in certain areas..... The good area is the Orchard, but housing is scarce there and you pretty much have to know someone. The 'alley' is where many students live and this area is called cedar heights and most break-ins occur here. The orchard (Hewanorra Orchard) is the most safe. The further away eg. 'OJ' --do not go there, but some students do live there. Black bay is very far away. Try to stay close to the school. The closet supermarket for food is Julians supermarket about 20min walk from school.
