I'm know I'm pushing the envelope, but if I want both green book and to stay in one area for at least a year (I have a daughter), how possible is that?

You can do it but you might have to wait in between rotations. Chicago and New York and maybe Denver I think are the only places where you can do most if not all green in one place.

or go for the UK. 46 weeks straight, no waiting, ACGME(green) equivalent. Tulsa, NY, Chicago, Denver are also possible, but expect waiting inbetween rotations unless you get the longitudinal program in Chicago, or maybe Tulsa.
