Anyone done a rotation here?

its a 6 weeks psych, I just wonder what kind of condition is it.

Yes its a fun rotation, most of the patients are chronic schizophrenics but u got some of the bipolar and antisocial patients as well so its a decent mix. There are lectures every week but its a pretty laid back rotation u get a lot of time to talk to the patients and work on your interviewing skills and psych note taking which is a little different than a regular H&P.If u are interested in psych u will enjoy the rotation if u arent its not that torturous either.

there is no "on-call" i hope..and weekends off?

yes, no call and weekends off .

I was wondering what the hours were like? I would love to spend most of my time studying for the CK if possible!

Depends which preceptor you have. Mine was from 8-3 or 4, sometimes later.Others were done at 1 or 2. Its a pretty chill rotation. Bet on being there from 8-3 everyday.Its not too demanding you will have time to study for ck.
