Why was it a piece of crap? Was it small? If the teaching is good isn't that good then?

the hospital is small...it seems that they havent renovated since the ealry 1900's....as i said, although the teaching is good, i.e. attendings care about teaching, i just felt uncomfortable at that place...

i had a good experience as far as my rotations goes...however, if i had the chance to go somewhere esle, i would.

Well I guess as long as you learned. Besides being uncomfortable due to appearance, would you say the teaching there was better than most other hospitals?

what do you mean most hospitals? compared to wyckoff? yes, compared to others hospitals that i rotated, hell no.
when you are comparing hospitals to wyckoff, every hospital is a 5 star. i do one to point out that wyckoff do have better technology that stjohns- like i said, it has not been renovated in at least 50 yrs.

what rotations are you going to do there?

I'm not sure which rotations are available there. But I figured why not do at least one there. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't pointless before going there. BTW which hospitals have you rotated at that you liked and recommend?

st. johns actually has good electives to choose from, but i again, i would go somewhere else...remember, this is YOUR time.
Do rotations that are of interest to you at hospitals that you would like to matched. My rotations were based on my future residency…..set them up where I would love to match and placed them in 1 state so that I would not have to move my family around.
Some hospitals that I rotated don’t accepted IMG’s or require a faculty sponsor
