Need advice on bringing pets

My husband (a vet student) and I already live here in Lance aux Epines, but I want to bring my animals back with me when I return from break in August. When I flew here, I noticed many vet students with animals that flew on the plane with them. Some said that they were "service animals" and other people said that they had permission from their own doctor to allow the animal to fly and be here with them.

Since I have repeatedly asked my husband for help, but he is too busy to do so. I really need advice on where to start to get my 3 dogs here flying along with me on the plane in August. All advice is welcome!

Thank you so much!

I have known several vet students who forged or otherwise acquired the necessary documents for "service animal" status and my advice is show some ethics and don't give in. It is cheaper and easier, but says little about your character in my opinion.

The easiest alternative, in my opinion, is to wait until the blackout period from american airlines (AA) is over and use them to bring your pets while traveling with them. The other possibility is to send them via amerijet. I have experience only with AA and never had problems with them. Neither option is very cheap.

Ask some vet students...many have all sorts of opinions on these options.
