getting ready for September

No real topic or question, just thought I would bump the thread and move pass the Shirlee posts. Maybe we could start exchanging travel plans, off-campus housing searches, book buying experiences, shipping plans, etc. I hope everyone is well and makes it to the island.

Hello and Congrats!

Hey guys!
I'm currently a third semester student here at SUSOM and will be in my 4th when you guys start (provided all goes well with my current classes! )

I just wanted to congratulate you all on your acceptance and let you know that if you have any questions you can feel free to e-mail me at swinginislanddoc@yahoo.com. Be forewarned I can be a little goofy at times so if I say something strange in an e-mail to you, just look past it! 8)

Congrats again!

~SID

Thanks!

Thanks swingingislanddoc for being so helpful. It's good to know the island has friendly individuals like yourself. And with a sense of humour. I thought I was going to be stuck on the island repeating "I concur" a thousand times

I concur...

I can hardly contain myself as the days approach... I have been doing nothing but working this summer so I can I save a few bucks, and I am honestly looking forward to doing some studying.

I have been checking this forum religiously now for several months and have gotten to know, on some level, the character of the more frequent posters. Before school actually commences, we need to all sit down for a beer… the first round on me.
