I'm still trying to figure that out. I'm travelling with a miniature dachsund so I'm trying to figure out off campus housing my plan is to leave San Francisco April 30 and arrive May 1 but that may be cutting it too short.

I'll see you on the island! I'm the 6'5" guy with a miniature dachsund and size 16 sandals (hence the Squatch part of my screen name).

is the dog the reason you were able to get out of living on campus for first semester? just because i thought all new entering students had to live in the dorms.

Or.. It could be that he's 6'5" and Sasquatch-like that for the purpose of preserving the structural integrity of the dorms, he was forced to live off campus.

Hehe.. just a joke.

Good luck! I'll see you guys in Sept.

Be a little objective and answer my questions. If you don't have patience to answer my post then you don't have the basics to become a doctor or health care professionals. It is easy to call names. I can do that all day long. People who are really peeved are the one who wanted to ask the same questions but never did.

You should do a search. It will answer your questions.

Searching is pretty cool. It invloves typing words in the search engine and then you will have some links to search through. All in all, the search function helps a lot in your daily search for answers to your most eagerly searching questions.

See that's what I mean. I did my best to provide you with an answer to your questions by giving you some resources that I found helpful and you act all hostile...

In fact you even state that I don't have the basic skills to become a physician or health care provider... That's a very inflamatory and hostile thing to say to a soon to be medical student who is trying to help you out.

I really can't wait to take Medical Psychology and Psychiatry, hopefully I'll learn what meds/treatment options would be best applied in this situation. Or maybe there's a personality disorder at work here. Any third or fourth years care to venture an opinion?

Gianefiasco, redCastro, sabaspouse2006, thedirtychemist, McGillGrad, Nate-MD, bigkap87, BTH, krust3, and everyone else who has been super patient and taken the time to make this forum great - Thanks! I'm really looking forward to meeting you all in May.

Thanks McGillGrad. Serach is good for soul. I agree. But, this forum lacks the good info. e.g. It does not tell you the real issues. New students have an attitude like freshly inducted frat boys. And, I say why not- Mom and Dad are paying for the off-shore drunken parties. But, my focus is more towards finding the responsibilities of the school. What type of faculty is teaching at Saba? What are their credentials. After all, most of the students are trying to practice in the US. Would I let any medical doctors from a questionable repute to treat my parents?? That is anyone's guess.
