Not being able to get one's shelf grade is not necessarily borne of laziness or stupidity, thanks. It may be a site problem.
I'm slightly put off because I WAS there and DID get the user ID and password, and they don't work for me, and I've tried two different computers in case it was on my end. Maybe I wrote them down wrong, but I doubt it.
The physio dept. is not answering email over the christmas holiday it seems, but I don't blame them much for that.
I guess I'll find out in a couple of days anyhow how the shelf exams went, I'm not worried too much since I did well on everything else.
The underlying issue: I really wish that it wasn't necessary for the physio dept. (as very kind of them as it was to try) to set up an "unofficial" website for school grades, when it could be easily added onto the school's official website. It would be best if we could just enter in a userID and a password of our choosing (as on this forum) and have access to all our grades throughout the year. Am I the first to think of this? I can't believe that is the case.
This all goes back to my one main gripe about Saba, and so far my only complaint. The school is a little below average on utilizing technology for the benefit of students. We should have wireless internet throughout campus available at all times, and a comprehensive online student portal. Every serious university has this.
