what do u think is better ?

to skip class and learn the stuff on your own ?

go to class and then study ?

i've heard some say that it may be better to just miss class , save time and study the info on your own ...

My view

I know that this is not part of the question; however, Saba does have a mandatory attendance policy.

As for the learning on your own vs. going to class, I think that it is very important to go to class. The professors may put a different twist on something that will cause you to look at something differently. If you could learn everything you need to know from books, then why would there be clinicals, etc. For example, why don't you ask the question, "What is better, go and see the patients on rounds and discuss them with the attendings, or read about them in books?"

Bottom line is that you need patient contact and contact with others to succeed.
