Funny Saba states that they don't require the MCAT but will ask of it of some of their candidates. I would contact the admissions office they are the only ones that could tell you for sure what your chances. Elizabeth Martineau is a great person to speak with and so is the director of admissions. Regular students cannot tell you what the criteria is because it varies from applicant to applicant. Best to contact them and yes they are extremely nice people.

I did take my science courses at a junior college. However, I believe the best education I received thus far was from a junior college. I spent one year at Universities of Cali and I did not learn anything except how to survive and out do your classmates. The TAs were my professors and my knowledge in the subject were equally or better than them. I believe that this is wrong to compare classes at Community College are not as good as the University level.

I agree i got my first two years done at a junior college not science based. and i learned more than i have in the upper division school i went to. community colleges are definitely looked down upon.it sucks but thats how it is.

Should I bother to apply??

Sorry everyone....here goes another "Here are my stats, should I apply questions"! From reading everyone else's info, I sound a little different. I have a science GPA around 3.8 with a cummulative GPA around 3.6. That doesn't include my Master's Degree in Nurse Anesthesia where I graduated with a 3.94 GPA. I have 10 years experience as a registered nurse and 3+ years experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I have never taken the MCAT (and don't want to). Also, I am lacking Organic Chemistry and Physics.

Have at it!! All opinions are welcome

I just checked out the website for McMaster University. It sounds like something I should look into. I am still very interested in the Caribbean though.....I really prefer warm weather to the cold!

McMaster is one of the best medical schools in Ontario (or maybe the best). If you're really serious about the weather, then I don't know. Maybe you should reconsider your idea for applying to medical school.
