What are my chances?

I have an AAS in nursing with a 3.7 GPA. I have a B.S. in nursing with a 4.0 GPA. I took chemistry, physics, and calculus as AP courses in high school a while ago and got 5's on all of them. I have not taken the MCAT and do not plan to anytime soon or at all. I still need to take orgo and general bio although I have taken course like A&P, micro, and patho and got A's in all of them. What are my chances of getting into SABA or any other carib. med school? Also, I know some schools down there have pre-med classes, is it better to take them in the states or there?

Thanks for the advice.

Accepted applicants for 2008

Anybody actually accepted for 2008? if yes what were your stats.
Maybe this will make things more clear as to what type of stats they accept.

Wow, your background is so similar to mine. Anyway, the one thing u will definitely need is Organic Chemistry (in order to take that u need chem I and Chem II)

All the best.

Unhappy Getting into SABA with my stats, please help !

Hi everyone
I have a B.S in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, double minor in Psych and Film Studies. My science GPA is 3.0. I am getting my MPH (masters in public health) by end of December. I am also taking upper division classes at a University to bring up my science gpa (postbac.). I did take the MCAT previously, but do I have to report that I took the MCAT? I didn't do good on the MCAT because I didn't take it seriously. What are my chances? When I apply, should I release my score to SABA? I had previously applied to SABA, got an interview, but I blew it. When I apply should I report my MCAT again. Do I have a chance? Since then I am taking upper division science classes and getting my MPH. Please Help.

Valuemed2006 & MCAT

I know that in my interview they asked me whether I took the MCAT, and my score. They also asked me to send my scores in for the exam.

My advice: Just be upfront about the exam because you do not want it coming back later to haunt you. If they want the scores, then they will ask for it. Your application is strong. The interviewers will get to know you as a whole, and the MCAT is just one portion of that. Hope that helps!

Take care
