Information Needed.
Hey guys,
I was going to apply for Basic Science program at saba. However, i am a little confused about my eligibility. On the website it says that Baccalaureate Degree is recommended. I do possess International Baccalaureate Diploma from Florida. But i did the IB program in High School. Any help is apprecited. snookkingish |

International Baccalaureate
Just to make sure you should call Gardner about the IB, but I would say that you need to have at least two years of college (credit transferable from one college to another) before you can be admitted. This is because a few states require college credits for licensure (e.g. Florida).
An IB is something to be proud of though. I think it would be great on anyone's resume. Best of Luck! |

Re: ROSS, SGU, AUC, SABA AND MUA STATS
Quote:
My overall undergrad GPA was lower than a 3.0 due to a disastrous freshman year, I practically failed out of college...I blame it on women, mostly...just kidding However, my science GPA was over a 3.0. I never took the MCAT, but I had lots of clinical experience, a great personal statement, and good grades on my post-bac stuff. I only actually applied to Saba, since I made up my mind about schools before applying, and applied to the one that I felt was right for me. Saba looked at my whole application and felt that it was a good match, also. I don't don't know if other schools look at the whole person, but it appears Saba does.

RE: Transfer
hey...
I'm not sure what SABA's requirements for transfers, so I would suggest you to email them (saba@valuemd.com) n they should be able to give you a better answer. they are pretty good at responding fast. Hope this helps. Good luck! |

transfer question
Hi all,
I'm currently a MUA student, starting Med 3 in January. I have good grades, GPA of almost 3.9. Can someone please advise me if I can transfer to Saba. I was on their website but couldn't find any information and I don't know if I call Gardner on Monday, if they'll be open. It's really important for me to transfer for family reasons - basically I really need to stay in the NY area for rotations and residency. Thanks to anyone who can answer this and enjoy the break people. Arif |
