email

Can anyone give me an email address to SABA that has received a reply. I emailed at saba@valuemd.com twice and never got a response. Are their any other emails that people have heard back from? Thanks

i graduated from wake forest university in may 05 and i have an overall gpa of 2.8, 27 in the mcats (spread: 10verb, 9bio, 8physci & O in the writing). my science gpa is around 2.7

i've found 3 options thus far: post-bac program in the us(with wake forest), caribbean, or dote(hungarian med school).

my heart is set on sgu. but my finances tell me to go with saba or dote (or the post-bac, which is free, provided i get in). currently, i'm a high school math and science teacher - i.e. nada mucho dinero

redundant question first - are my gpa and mcat good enough?

how well known is saba in us medical schools? i know sgu is highly reputed, but i have not heard much about saba (which might have answered my question right there).

more importantly, what are the discrepancies among the education systems at saba, sgu and dote? ultimately, any school that would make me a better doctor is well worth the money.

What do you guys think chances are for :
Cum. GPA - 2.9
Science/Math - 2.4
(Screwed up first year, but repeated those courses and received high grades...)
****Worked as a research assistant, shadowed a physician, volunteered for 4 years and worked as a pharmacy tech.

I haven't taken the MCAT yet...What schools do you guys think I should consider with these stats????

How long does it take to get an interview?

Does anyone know how long does it take to get an interview? I sent my application today with my unofficial transcripts, (i'm going to send the official ones on monday) and one of my recommendations (as for the other one, my professor is being elusive). I have a 2.92 Gpa and a 2.96 science GPA, and I'm currently working on a research project, do you think they will give me an interview?

(No MCAT and I hope it stays that way)

Does anyone know anyone who got in with a gpa similar to mines?

Thank you for all your responses.

Salutations "stookie":

I received an interview within 1 week of sending in my application. As for your chances of receiving an interview, I would say you would, although I can't guarantee it. It also depends on which semester you're applying to as well. The only thing you can do right now is send in the application and hope for an interview. Best of luck to yah. Ciao.

I hope so, I really want to get into this school. Do they notify you by mail or do they call you to arrange your interview?

They call you to arrange for a mutually convenient time to interview you.
Good luck

Always follow your heart ! Both are good schools, however, SGU is a better school, with regards to world recognition, research and postgraduate work......See if you can get student loans, if you can go with SGU !
