I know some homes (like the one we rented) came with a double osmosis filtration system. I still bought water. LOL. I am just paranoid I guess, but I would rather be safe, then sick on Saba. I am not sure, but I think you should check to see if Brita Filters get rid of bacteria...

Hey guys if I go to Mexico often and I have never gotten diarrhea. Do you guys think my normal flora/immune system will be able to handle any guppies or should I bring any antibiotics from Tijuana.........Hey this is not joke.....

The most common gastric complaint I heard of for the first few weeks on the island was constipation, not any sort of diarrheal distress.
I presume the constipation was caused by the heat, and lack of adequate hydration and an island diet low on fiber. |

My buddies have been drinking water from the sink during the entire semester and have not gotten ill or anything. I myself have ventured into the mix of drinking Saba water and so far so good. Then again, everyone's system is different. Just letting you guys know that there are people out there that drink the water from Saba and are not feeling any ill effects. Ciao.
