Thread: Loan options

Hi all

Once agian, I need your help.

I am doing some reseach into TERI and MEDACHIEVER loans. Can you please share your reseach regarding Fees associated with both loans. It is my understanding that MEDACHIEVER charges 6% Origination fee and 2% at the time of repayment. I am little bit confused about TERI loans. On the website, they have stated that credit-worthy students are charged 6% origination fee but have not stated any fees for credit-ready students.
Interest rates are somewhat identical.

For current student attending SABA;
(1) which loan program did you select and why
(2) are there any other loan programs other than these two?
(3) do you know if the school participates in CITIASSIST loan program?
(I was told to contact school by citibank. School replied they have TERI and MEDACHIEVER)
(4) any other information you may have

I chose MedAchiever mostly because they gave me more money (I have a family). I'm not sure about fees for TERI, but as I recall, the overall cost of the two programs is about the same. I saw the Citibank option listed on the website, but understood it to be only for Domestic US studies. I am not sure that is true, though. Your best bet is to call the programs directly and get as much info as you can from them. Sorry I can't be of much help. Suffice it to say that I think you can attend school pretty much on loans if you budget wisely.
