I am wondering if students at Saba wear Scrubs or lab coats during lab exercises......is it wise to get scrubs or just get a lab coat......

Faith it seems, is not without a touch of irony
From what I've read, scrubs and sneakers are the way to go for labs... I don't think Saba recommends lab coats...
Thank you for a quick reply.....Originally Posted by HafSabeen

Scrubs.
Bring three pair.
Bring at least 500 gloves.
Bring closed toed shoes (although some people ended up wearing flip flops).
Bring blades (about 50 or so).

At the start of the semester, you're going to want 5 pairs of scrubs- one for each day of the week- because of their amazing ability to hold the scent of fresh cadavers. As each week passes and your olfactory bulb gets more and more burnt out you're not going to notice the smell as much. Sometime after 3rd block, you're going to just not care and start going to lab in your normal clothes, sometimes while eating lunch. While you don't notice the smell anymore, the upper semesters are fully aware of it and will remind you that you are rank.
I think the previous estimate of 500 gloves is about right. Some people make it a habit of living in the anatomy lab when not in class, often pulling late nights the week before exams, so you're going to go through a few pairs a day. Later in the semester you'll adapt the "don't care anymore" attitude mentioned above, and will probably hold a brain or something in your bare hand.
It was torture.... straight torture son....
You might have to wear two pairs of gloves at first, I remember my hands burning right after lab. As for the lab coat, its too hot to wear a lab coat.
