Sept 2005
I've found this forum to be very helpful. I'm a third year student at the University of Toronto. I haven't taken the MCATs yet. I have a 3.61 GPA with some pretty good extracurrics. I've decided that Saba is overall, the best school in the caribbean for me. I'm not going to try to apply in Ontario for a number of reasons. I'm not interested in doing graduate work. I want to be a doctor, plain and simple...and this is the best route for me I hope. Do you think it's too late to apply for Sept. 2005? |

Hey...
Its not at all too late to apply for Sep 2005, actually they have just started admitting new Sep 2005 students, if you apply in about two weeks time you have a good chance of reserving a seat for Sep 2005, ...by the way I graduated from UofT too with a Honor BSc. in Genetics, Cell and Molecular Biology...i will be attending Saba in May 2005...hope the best for you....
Best Regards, Siddman |

Thaks for the info guys.
I understand a couple of you are Canadians like myself (val, siddman). If I work my *** off and finish at or near the top of the class at Saba in all courses, do u think I'd have a problem with USMLE step 1. Also, if I get a good scores on USMLEs, will I have a lot of problems getting a decent residency in the states. Also, I was born in Canada. SHould I have too many problems getting the appropriate Visas to do my residency + work in the states? Thanks a Lot! |
