Which is better to attend Saba or UMHS? Which do you guys prefer? Why?

I just checked and no states in the US has given them accreditation... what could be worse than this?

Go there if your gpa is 0.01 with MCAT of 2F.

sorry, but this is silly thread...either you have not done your research or you are just trollin'

no disrespect to UHMS, but comparing SABA to UHMS is not even apples and oranges...its asking if you were given a chance to live in a penthouse apt on the upper east side or a 5 floor walk up in the LES...

SABA- essentially 50 state approval( tx is case by case, but usually not a problem) and UHMS does not have Cali, NY, or Fla approval...

that is a BIG BIG BIG diffference...

I'll keep this short. After having done my homework on foreign medical schools, I honestly don't think in this time and age there's any logical reason to be going to any non-50 state approved school. It's not worth it. Plain and simple. Nothing against UMHS in particular. With a potentially increasing number of states adopting the California list, I'd be on pins and needles knowing that the number of states I cannot practice in can increase.

And no I don't buy the whole "administration with a track record" argument I've heard a million times. It's my money, my time and my future that is on the line and that selling point is just not strong enough for me considering what's at stake. That is all.

As others have said, this isn't even up to debate. SABA by a mile. Like Usain Bolt competing against Jabba the Hut in a race.

i googled UMHS first and it took me to University of Michigan health sciences website...lol


in that case, definitely UMHS wins!

I mean yea sure i know the schools is new..but looking at the resources its only a matter of time before their approved in all 50 states. They have full financial aid through citibank. But i know what you guys are also saying about saba having a track record ..yada yada yada... why risk my future on an unproven school.
